| Janaize Markland is the Director, Business Risk and Insurance at Meta Platforms, Inc. and is responsible for overseeing Meta’s financial risk transfer programs. Prior to joining Meta, Janaize worked in various risk and compliance roles at Pacific Gas and Electric Company ultimately serving as the Senior Director, Enterprise and Operational Risk Management (EORM) & Insurance. In this role, she was responsible for implementing and providing governance for PG&E’s Enterprise and Operational Risk Management Program and managing the company’s $5B insurance portfolio. |

| Sally Liu is the upcoming Insurance Analyst at CIBC, where she will be responsible for developing climate related loss estimation using catastrophe modeling and optimizing CIBC’s insurance coverage. Prior to joining CIBC, Sally was a Master of Financial Risk Management candidate, passionate about applying risk methodologies to solve business challenges. She is experienced in data analysis, risk modeling, market research, and risk reporting, and is proficient in extracting insights from complex financial datasets and presenting results to stakeholders. |
